Mr Poppers Penguins

Just thought I would let you all know about a cute movie I took the kids to today. Its the latest jim Carrey movie, he is his usual off beat self with a cute story line.
With the school holidays around the corner this is definitely a nice option for age 6 up. My little 3yr old Mila just wasn't that into it. But Noah age 6 and Isaiah age 10 loved it.
The penguins are very cute, kind off made me want to dress up in my penguin suit from work and waddle around a bit.

Just when you think....

So my first day of being a normal, run of the mill, blending citizen.
It was great to wake up and go straight to my wardrobe for my clothes. Choose something completely comfortable and off you go.
My day in general was not very relaxing at all, was so happy to be slowing down the pace today but it seemed to speed up instead.
Its really been an incredible 3 and a bit weeks and I have learnt so much about myself and others. As things pop into my head I will share them with you.
I am going to continue on with my blogging and some fancy dress here and there. Just not the whole hog everyday.
Mardi Gras will be @ the Argus expo from tomorrow. So pop in if you coming past.

I am in my bunny no 2 and I am having my hair done at the OTHER SHOP @ upper eastside hotel.
This hair dresser has sponsored me for the duration of my blog. I have been coming here for a bit and I love it.

For starters....the chair you sit in to have your hair washed is always so uncomfortable, here its like a bed....
Then you get the best head massage.
You could almost fall asleep.

I always have my hair done by either Tash or Priscilla and they are both fantastic hairdressers. Never a bad cut or style. For my naturally curly hair they both are flippen amazing with a GHD. Its quite weird because I now have my hair styled curly ??? After avoiding it my whole life.

The Salon is very funky and is surrounded by cool eateries and the best factory shops for bargain hunters.

So after you have had your hair done you can have a Vida coffee and then pop across the road and get a wonder bra and panty set for a hundred bux.

Funnily enough the people at the gym are now used to seeing me in fancy dress. Its going to be weird tomorrow going in normal gym clothes?
Who would have thought that normal would feel weird?

I did a little promo walk around Cavendish square in the bridal get up. It was very well received by all the shoppers and shop attendants. Go have a look at the cavendish website and facebook page for more pictures.

Its takes quite a while to get all dressed up like a bride on a Monday morning but I did it. Today's outfit is dedicated to 2 very special people. The sweetest Lizanne who helps me to stay strong and fit. She is getting married this Saturday and I wish her all the love in the world. Secondly my sister in law to be Justine. You are going to be a beautiful bride and I can't wait to be there to share your special day. You are already and amazing aunty. I spoke to all the kids at Noah's school about my experiences whilst doing the blog in assembly this morning. Very special.

I just got out of the shower after a wonderful cold swim and suddenly felt ill. I was so very busy today that I totally forgot to post a picture of my last outfit. Its sports day at Noah's school today, He is at Camps Bay Prep and its my old school also. I decided to wear my school uniform. Done an egg and spoon race, sack race and dress up race.

My luck is they had a movie shoot going on at the same time...

St Annes home

Noah, Mila and I went to St Annes home this afternoon. We had a little party for the kids and gave them all presents.
They are all so sweet and so happy to be getting something new.
Was very cute to see Noah and Mila giving things to the little kids.

I was up until late last night sorting out all my stuff for my next Charity visit. I have had so many amazing donations that I can actually do 2 more visits after todays.
This afternoon I will be going to St Annes home in Woodstock. Its is a home for destitute mothers and their children.
Noah and Mila are coming with me so it should be really fun.
