80's Day

It had to be done....a full 80's day. So the gym outfit, which is totally terrible. I can't actually believe that we thought this stuff was cool? its just horrible.
Had a good workout despite the outfit. Now on my way to get ready for work....more hideous lumo clothes. I have so much admin to catch up on after my charity filled week.

Very Quiet hey

Little Miss Fancy dress has been very quiet today...well what I thought would be a nice relaxing easy day turned into the opposite.
I choose my outfits according to the type of day I have planned. So I chose a pretty wild one because I didn't have to be stared at all the time. As luck would have it I found myself at Pick n Pay in peak post work shopping time.
I could just hear people laughing at me... Maybe in a way it was a full disguise ??
Anyway, not to worry tomorrow will be an action packed outfit filled day.

Just driving from home to work I have had so many stares....nearly a few accidents. Its the wigs that get all the attention. I think dress up alone is cool but people just think you are a bit wierd. With a wig I just look overboard. Especially this one

The weary fairy

Its been a long Monday and this fairy is tired. The creche was so amazing this morning. One can never really imagine what a creche in a shack is really like. It was amazing for me as a Montessori nursery school teacher to just observe the children. They really vary in age and its amazing to see how they take care of each other. Our kids are so spoilt to go to immaculate, well equipped schools. These kids have nothing and play on cement and sand that is full of glass. They were so appreciative of all the clothes, books, toys and other stuff that I managed to collect for them. Thank you everybody for your donations.

Hello kitty party

Mila had to go to a party today so I needed to be dressed up in something pink and shiny. Spent yesterday sorting out all my charity stuff. So excited about going to the creche in the morning.

The U2 kit

I thought about this one long and hard and finally chose the leprechaun type look. It worked very well and everybody loved it. Got Noah to join me in dressing up. The concert was so amazing, if you didn't go you really did miss out.

Sumo time

This morning was one of those where I actually felt very much in the eyes. My sumo suit is not something you can just sneak into the gym in. I got even more stares today....I wonder when the people at Wembley square Virgin active are going to be brave enough to speak to me. I am busy having my hair done at the Other shop @ Upper East side and then off to the hospital....guess how I am dressed today?

Just across the road from Mardi Gras is an amazing cafe called Crust, I love their smoothies and salads.
My husband is a major coffee lover and he basically lives on Crust coffee. I have even noticed that he gets really cranky on the weekends because he hasn't had his daily dose of caffeine from Crust.

Goodbye Lauren

Our friend Lauren is leaving on an adventure to London. We are going to miss her terribly. I wore my Frenchmaid outfit especially for her because she is such a fun person.

HAIR @ the other shop

I am so lucky to have a hairdresser sponsor... To ensure that I look totally fabulous in all my outfits I come in and get my hair styled. The Other shop is part of the Scar hair group and is situated in the Upper east side mall. The hairdressers are all amazing and can really make you look the part.
Today Priscilla did my hair...very happy, now off to work to try on my new playboy bunny outfit for my party at the end.

Hot and busy

Even though I chose the most comfortable and cool outfit today I still managed to work up quite a sweat. So happy that I wasn't in heels today. They are really my worst I am seriously a Havaianas type of chick. I have a pair in every colour and my poor feet are ruined from them but I continue wearing them.
Clever me bought a gold pair in Bali, hardly worn them in real life BUT they are great for fancy dress. So my Greek Goddess outfit looked super with my Havaianas.

Other than that I have been running around for work and organising my charities.
Very excited about the first one I have chosen. Will let you all know more about it on Thursday.

A bit of a late start today...I have been working and just couldn't find a good spot for a pic. Stopped to pick up my healthy lunch at one of my favourite place to go for lunch. Karen's kitchen in woodstock. So good I even took photo's of the food.

Bad luck

My dress up day has ended and all I want to do is get into the pool, I can't get out of my dress. The kids can't get the zip down so I am stuck until Kyle gets home. The price to be a princess.....
