SO WHATS THIS LITTLE MISS FANCY DRESS ALL ABOUT ???????

A few months ago I decided that it would be a great idea to do a blog about dressing up...and the idea ( as most do ) evolved and then evolved some more and now I am about to embark on a 3 week challenge of being dressed up every day.

I am sure I was one of the quiet girls at school and I am also sure that fancy dress wasn't really my favourite thing but since I have owned Mardi Gras, it has just become normal. So now any occasion I think mmmm lets dress up.

Its actually really fun, you can be all sorts of different characters and wear all sorts of cool stuff and then just go straight back to being good old you. The great part about it is you are bound to make somebody smile.

So I thought some more about the purpose of my blog ??? I now have a plan but I need a purpose so I got a pen and paper and drew one of those mind map thingies they teach you at school. What is important to me ?

1. helping people
2. involving the children
3. exercise
4. eating well
5. my friends
6. my family
7. our community
8. building Mardi Gras

( no order there guys ....remember it was a mind map and looked like a spider )

and so I decided to include all of the things that were important to me in the blog.
I will be visiting various children's homes and creche's or places of refuge to help and bring smiles to the children.
I would like to take my kids along with me as often as possible to experience the feeling of giving back.
I will continue to exercise and keep fit despite being dressed up.
I will eat as healthily as I can so that I look good in the playboy bunny outfit on my last day.

I love Cape Town and everybody that makes our city what it is, lets have fun and enjoy everyday.
